The teams in the 2012 USSBC have been ranked by seeding points in accordance with the Conditions of Contest for the event. You can download a PDF document showing the seeding point calculations by team to see the seeding points for each player. The team seeding points and rankings may change if rosters change or if there are any corrections to the seeding points shown.

Because the event is starting with a Knockout, the teams will be placed into the Knockout bracket in accordance with the Conditions of Contest. The team with the highest average seeding points will be #1 and will have a bye in the Round of 16. The team with the second highest average seeding points will be #2. The teams with the 3rd and 4th highest average seeding points will be randomly assigned to #3 and #4. The teams with the 5th and 6th highest average seeding points will be randomly assigned to #5 and #6. The teams with the 7th and 8th highest average seeding points will be randomly assigned to #7 and #8. The teams with the 9th through 12th highest average seeding points will be randomly assigned to numbers 9-12. The teams with the 13th through 15th highest average seeding points will be randomly assigned to numbers 13-15.
