The Diamond team was dominant throughout the USBC. They started in the Round of 16, where they defeated Dinkin by over 120 IMPs. In the Quarterfinal, they defeated a strong Wolfson team by over 100 IMPs. In the Semifinal, they led Fireman (last year's USBC winners) by 124 IMPs after 6 segments of play when Fireman withdrew. The Final was their only close match; they won by 39, after leading by 74 after the first 3 segments of play.
